Requiem, is an intimate journey through two years of landmark events: the loss and birth of a new child. Recorded in the solitude of his mini-studio, the album brings all the strength of the fight against adversity, the exorcising of demons and the triumph of the celebration of life.

Melo D emerged as a pioneer of the national hip hop scene in the 1990s, mainly as the vocalist of Cool Hipnoise and founding member of The Family, until releasing his solo albums Outro Universo (2004), Chega de Saudade (2005) and Soul de Lisbon (2016).
